Estimation of Regional Tourism Satellite Accounts for Austria for the Year 2023

Since tourism offers are strongly linked to regional and local conditions, there are strong regional divergences in the tourism industry. From this point of view, it makes sense to supplement the national Tourism Satellite Account, which has been compiled for many years, with regional Tourism Satellite Accounts. This project aims to do just that: to compile regional Tourism Satellite Accounts for the nine Austrian federal states for the reporting year 2023, supplemented by an estimate of the most important key figures on expenditure, value added and employment for 2024.
